First in pool
Birthday gift for Samael
A gift I put together one evening using my iPad (with a pogo sketch and my new nomad brush! ).

I hadn't talked to Sift in ages, and it was good to see him and work things out =)

This kinda came out of that.

iPad is a hard tool to use for most old-school artists I've noticed. Glad to see someone other than myself taking a crack at it, but I'm new to art so I find sliding into using it a bit easier than most. Excellent work and glad things have turned for the better.

Somehow its easier to get started and easier to not care about how poor stuff might look, the iPad has been a revelation for me at least as far as like.. getting started, or doing rough doodles or sketches.
Lots of artists better than me have been creating great stuff with it too :)

If you're interested, i could recommend some good art apps and peripherals to help you get started :)

Thanks very much, but I find Sketchbook Pro and my finger to be good enough. I did follow the Nomad brush link you provided and found an actual brush to be interesting for the iPad, but I have more control with my own digits at the moment. If you care to my gallery is all done on my iPad as its the only medium Im not terrible with.

Also give the pogo sketch link a try as well - for actual drawing, its by far the best iPad tool I've found to date :)

I have a set of three Pogo Sketch tools. I usually use them for poking my screen when I dont want to smudge the glass. They tend to cause wavier lines than I'd like while drawing and I find my style doesn't change with and without the use of a pen/brush in my hand. I'm waiting for the day when Apple or someone releases a more pen-like device via. bluetooth or some other means before trying my hand at penned art.
