One night, when Rouge was pregnant, she was waiting for her husband Nightshade to return from his heist, then suddenly she got into labor, as her allies, Shadow, Maria *Who was resurrected years ago as a Mobian Hedgehog and ultimate lifeform by her cousin Dr. Eggman before Rouge ever met Nightshade one month later*, E-123 Omega, Hope Kintobor, and Topaz took her to the emergency room in the GUN headquarters to help her give birth to her cub.
Meanwhile Nightshade was returning from his robbery, then Dreamcatcher and Wolfgang appeared, telling him Rouge was about to give birth to their child, so they took him to GUN headquarters to see
his wife. Back at the emergency room, Rouge's friends were helping her give birth, as she kept breathing in and out, until her cub was born, while Nightshade rushed to the room, and saw that their son was born. He looked just like him, but has his mother's fur color. Nightshade and Rouge finally became parents as the Dark Doom Raider named their newborn baby boy "Artemis".
