Captain Alaster Dread was the first mate to the the most powerful Pirate captain on the sea's Captain Harrison Sabre, the Pirate emperor. One day he insructed Alaster to take his sword (The source of his unrivaled might) and hide it where no other mortal may find it. Harrison gave Alestor his ship, making him the captain, but he gave him a warning that if he didn't carry out his mission, Alaster and the crew will be severely punished. After doing so vanished, never to be seen again.
Alaster set out to fulfil his mission, but eventually temptation got overtook his judgement and he claimed the sword as his own and started using it to begine making his own kingdom. Untill one night when a unatually violent storm caught up to them and the enraged spirit of Captain Harrison placed a curse on them to forever guard the sword and suffer eternal pain as they do, thrusting them into the depths of the ocean to rott.
Years later they will emerge on the blade's island all as skelletons, but with only one goal in their mind. To protect the sword. They built a new ship out of a whale skelleton and the wreck of their old ship, and took to the sea's again to kill all those who are unfortunate or foolish to come near the island, the last thing all who perish hear is the cold, high-pitched laughter of Captain Alaster Dread.
