Those who know me know I'm a sucker for nostalgia, and nothing touches my nostalgia bone more than 90s TV. Not sure if this was true for those in the United States, but in Canada, the kid's channel was called YTV and it was where I watched most of my cartoons growing up. On weekend evenings, while I waited for ReBoot, Beasties and Are You Afraid Of The Dark? to start, they'd play these CGI shorts as bumpers. Trippy shit for a kids channel, but it's the kind of doped-to-the-gills imagery and kickass music that just burns itself into your soul. Seriously, I find myself humming that Pyramid song every so often, it was that ingrained.
Ah, memories. I kinda appreciate a channel that does something out of the ordinary like that.
