What Crumb hated was that he only got paid ten grand and then was told to "go away" and not get involved in the production.Like,bummer.

I got the info from an interview with R. Crumb in "Inside Comics"vol1issue1 1974.he may have had artistic differences,but since they left him out of the loop he couldn't complain about the art direction,etc when the movie was being made.

XD This movie is sooo fucked-up genius!!! Best to watch after four beer minimum (4 x 0,5l). ^^

I agree, an X-rated CGI-remake would be out of this world! :-D
