Talk about a blast from the past! This was drawn back in 2004 when I was big into Happy Tree Friends. It was inspired by discussion on the official site's forum of which Tree Friend would be romantically involved with whom, and, not surprisingly, there were a number of slash/yaoi suggestions, including this one. Naturally I couldn't resist doodling it. So, here it is. It's old but it holds up, I think. I blame (thank?) the simplistic character designs.

Why Nutty/Toothy? Well, in the episode Nuttin' But the Tooth (one of the few early episodes where nobody dies) Toothy is a dentist and Nutty is his patient. I figured a dentist and a candy-crazed lunatic would make a great couple. Opposites attract, after all!

Squirrel!

I'm now picturing several critters of the HTF cast pouncing on Nutty as they all lick on the numerous candies he has all over his body. Nutty is likely giggling like a maniac as usual, but probably is getting fiercely turned on by all the attention :-)
