*gets his ultra balls ready* sounds like the perfect pokemon for me ^_^. Also for what ever reason the first form looks like a monster from the mmo ZOMG on gaia.

Yes but being forced to attack they can't do things like foresight, miracle eye or build defense. With taunt would be able to ko the enemy faster.
And its also your only physical move. If you replace it with nasty plot you could have the other two moves be more powerful. Stat building moves are deadly.

This is true, but since the changes to taunt in generation V it is not as effective as it used to be, now it being able to have it reflected and its time cut down from 4 turns to 3. Theres a chance that the person is a power house type as well, and taunt can back fire, cause it has before on me. I agree that taunt is an effective move, but considering the type of pokesona I want mine to be she would either have A. sleep inducing effects or B. moves that strike with heavy power.

Taunt is a great move, but not very useful for sweepers like Arcana. I agree with your notion to suggest Nasty Plot, but you also don't have any idea how frail Arcana may be - she may not be highly defensive (I know she's not) and a turn spent using Nasty Plot could lead to a first-round knock-out against another sweeper.
Ultimately, all of these points are very valid, but only Arcana knows what moves are best for her, competitive or not. n_n
