Twilight Sparkle was once considered the prime candidate to becoming the most powerful magic user in all of Equestria, up to and including the twin monarchs. Twilight Sparkle has since achieved that goal, and for all intents and purposes, the unicorn is now comprised of at least 98.231% pure magic. The rest is there to remind her that not everyone else is.
