As for adoption, I agree with your sentiments completely. Family is about much more than who you're related to by blood, and just because someone is adopted, or has adopted a child, that doesn't make them any less a family than anyone else. It's infuriating that anyone would think otherwise, and I very much apologize if I gave that impression!
