I love this picture *u* After doing so many magical girl outfits during my streams, you'd think I'd be tired of them, but surprise, I'm super not, and I love them as much as I did two months ago. Hima asked for a magical girl picture as a complete commission, so it was nice getting to take my time with the outfit and really go for it. This is an outfit from Cardcaptor Sakura, by the way.
Part way through the sketch, I got the idea to cut the figure out and spray-glue it to a sheet of black paper, so that I could do the magic effects in this one colored pencil I have. It's this super light teal-ish one, and I adore how it looks on darker paper. Cutting the character out was nerve wracking though ouo;;
