I spent way to much time on this song, fiddling here and there trying to add more to it, embellish it really.
Finally I got the mix down just right and then everything started to come together.
This has the TR-808 and the TR-909 for the drums and the TB-303 taking the lead once more. The Juno and the Jupiter8 is also put to good use on the layers and rhythms
I wanted to give the into a smooth flowing feel and didn't want crispy sounds such as that from the TR-909. So I used the TR-808 for its hats. But to make it extra smooth I didn't use the open and high hat together. Instead I used the maracas and the closed hats to give an even more subtle dynamic.
For even more flow I swich from Sawtooth to Square on the TB-303 constontly. Giving bass when I need it and treble to make it scream.
