Caiden's fate could be heard through the house as Kyle (Caiden's older brother) was listening just outside of his parents bedroom where Caiden was getting the paddling of his young life for bringing home a note from school from Caiden's nursery teacher about him bullying, being non-compliant during diaper changes, and overall disrespect when the teachers were telling him to do something.
*THWACK! THWACK! THWACK!* I don't ever want to read another note like this again young man! *THWACK! THWACK! THWACK!* This behavior is unacceptable!*THWACK! THWACK! THWACK!* And I will not tolerate it! *THWACK! THWACK! THWACK!* Do you understand me!? *THWACK! THWACK! THWACK!*
Everything was going pretty smoothly after Cheryl (the boys mother) picked up Kyle and Caiden from their schools. It was only after they got home and Cheryl took off Caiden's jacket and saw the note pinned to his shirt. Once she saw and read the note, she flipped her lid and dragged Caiden to her bedroom with Caiden's paddle in hand. After they got to the room there was a little bit of pleading on Caiden's part, but ultimately he ended up with his pants on the ground, diaper at the ankles, and over his mother's lap.
I do! I do!....WAHAHAahhhaa...*THWACK! THWACK! THWACK!*
...and that was the end of it. Caiden was sent to the corner to think about what he had done while Cheryl sat on the bed and waited. Kyle was still outside of the door listening to Caiden's wailing as he waddled to the corner.
'I wonder if this is a good time to let mom know about the math test that I failed...?' thought Kyle.
