My dragon girl, Sindy, building up for one serious doozy of a fire-breath attack.
Sindy's ancestors were wingless dragons of earth and fire, who didn't have the luxury of simply flying away whenever danger threatened. To survive, they had to evolve other means of defending themselves - such as immense physical strength and fire-breath of near-apocalyptic potency.
Sindy - for her part - is quite proud of this fiery heritage and, in addition to her normal workout, trains constantly to strengthen and improve her already fearsome fire-breath. At least once a week (or more often, if she can spare the time), she drives out into the desert near her home town and practices her fire-breathing - puffing herself up until she's fit to burst, before blowing out the biggest, fiercest conflagration she can muster. Of course, so much ferocious huffing and puffing frequently taxes Sindy's clothing to the bursting point and beyond, and she often finds it necessary to carry a spare change of clothes with her whenever she steps out to exercise her lungs.
Thankfully, her taste in clothing is both simple and cheap, so replacing them is rarely a problem for her.
Not intentionally, but given the sheer amount of fire she can muster up with single, gimongous breath, anything standing too close is liable to wind up a bit... crisped. >>
And by "too close" I mean "within several kilometers of her general location" >>;
