for me. the best example is crocodyne, from the dragon quest manga. A PERFECT USE OF AN ANTHRO CHARACTER. HE IS A TANK, HE DIES, AND COMES BACK, STRONGER, CUS HE WANTS TO BE GOOD, EVEN THOUGH HE IS A DEMON, i mean, he is such a cool character, i mean, there is this stupid trope about anthros....they are cannon fodder and plot convenience bitches....that sucks.
