Any future development by Flynn would be welcome in my book but as for me, my fan head canon it will have to do.
Yeah... I doubt Ken is going to allow them to do what they want with her and the others... And after he has done so much to the characters now... Would people even be comfortable having them in the comics now knowing she actually looks as she does now "officially" thanks to him...?

Well the way I see it is they are as good as retired from the comics. Ken has some pretty unreasonable demands for character use all things considered. When it comes to character designs though though they looked in the Archie Comics and how they look in Pender's universe are complete different sides of the planet heck the universe and I'm just going to chalk it up as new continuity. Sorta like the main Sonic universe and Sonic Boom... but no where near as good.

Last time I checked when you work for a company and create something for them by all legal rights it becomes their property all together, you are credited as the creator but it becomes the property of the company to use how they desire.
