Redacteur's album "In Periwinkle Blue" explores new territory for the jazz fusion mastermind. Using frippertronic tape loop systems he manages to create a sound more epic in scope and more textural, sometimes boarding on ambient. Side two has some more traditional songs including a cover of a Neu! song that has only been released through bootlegs.
The sunglasses are off.
