Post-Growth Spurt: Try as she might to negotiate, Applejack had to be honest, she simply couldn't bring herself to be supportive of Rarity's desire to perform burlesque.

Her jealousy had gotten the best of her, and it just didn't feel right. She couldn't approve of her girlfriend's exhibitional practice.

After their argument, they mutually decided that maybe it was time they took a break. But Rarity wouldn't let her feelings for Applejack get in the way of her being herself.

During her first performance, Rarity couldn't help but be severely distracted by the thoughts of the two of them possibly soon becoming ex-girlfriends, and in turn couldn't give it her all.

Though before she had the chance to choke on stage and retreat, a familiar young boy-toy of hers, even after she had politely rejected him in the past, stepped up to "show her how it's done", as she had done for him in the past, giving her what she needed most right then; a laugh, and a friend.
