During a battle between Eggman and the gang, Amy decided she had enough of his foolishness; and she wacked his hover-craft, with her hammer. This made Eggman furious at the pink hedgehog. So, he ordered his new "dangerous" robot to capture her. Everyone else was cheering for Amy's skills when suddenly one of the robot's arms caught hold of her by her waist. Amy: "Ugh! Sonic!" struggling to get out. Sonic: "Amy!" he exclaimed while looking at her. Eggman: "Ha hahaha! See you later, hedgehog!" he taunted. Sonic: "We've got to save Amy." he told the rest of the crew. Tails: "But it's too risky." Sonic: "I don't care; I'm going after her." Therefore, he ran to Eggman's base; only to find that it had hundreds of security bots. Sonic:*hmph*"That's it? Come on Egghead!" Eggman heard this, and it made him very angry; so he launched to robots to capture the hedgehog. Sonic: "Ha, yeah!", he cheered while destroying the robots. When suddenly two huge, and stronger robots grabbed onto his arms and legs. Sonic: "Hey, let me go!" A little while later, the bots had dropped Sonic off in some sort of dungeon. Sonic: "Hey, you can't leave me here!", he shouted, wanting them to come back. When he suddenly heard faint crying. He looks to his right and sees a small bit of pink. Sonic: "Amy?" Amy: "...Sonic?" Sonic: "Amy!", he takes a better look. Amy: "Sonic!", she hugs him. Amy: "How did you get here?" Sonic: "It doesn't matter, but what does is us getting out of here." They both pounded on the walls and tried to dig up holes; but nothing worked. Amy: "What are we going to do?" Sonic: "I don't know." A few minutes pass until Amy says, "Sonic if we're not going to get out of here, there's something I want to tell you." Sonic: "What?" She starts to blush, "Well, that I like you." He was speechless by this, but he knew he had to say something; so he said, "Well, in that case I-" the wall collapsed. Knuckles: "Oh yeah! I love the smell of ruble in the morning!", he said walking in the room. Sonic: "Knuckles?" Tails walks in, "I told you we could've got them through that window!" Sonic: "Tails! What are you guys doing here?" "Well, we're here to save you, two." Knuckles says proudly. "Yeah. Hey! Where's Sticks?", the fox questioned. "Oh, she's distracting the guard robots." "Anyway... the last one still here is a rotten Eggman!", Sonic shouted running away. Everyone else says, "Hey!" Later after they made it to the hut, Sonic is chatting with everyone in the gang; except for Amy which is to his far right. She walks over to him and says, "Um Sonic, may I have a word with you; alone." And Sonic being Sonic of course agrees to this and they both go in the hut. "So, what is it you wanted to talk about?" "Well earlier when I told you how I felt, you were going to say something back; but we were interrupted.", she's blushing slightly. "I just want to know what you were going to say.", she states looking away. Sonic knows what he must say, "Well if you must know," he sighs, "it's that I love you." Amy gasps at this and has a stupid grin on her face. Sonic starts to scratch behind his ear, "It's not like you have to make a big deal about it." He's interrupted by Amy's kiss.
