Just a cute image that popped into my head. seemed like a cute idea so i sketched it out. I'm a bit iffy on how it turned out. I guess there's nothing really wrong with it... I was experimenting the whole time with different brushes as I went. I can't help worrying it's a bit much. maybe it would have been better to keep it simple. but I was also worried the background would look too detailed in comparison.
I wanted to experiment with a more painted style, in homage to the movie's background style. This scene is obviously inspired by the first part of the second encounter with Kaa where he lifts Mowgli up into the tree
I also really like how Xai is tilting his head to the side in the same way Kaa is, so cute >w< And the way Kaa looked is great too. Honestly, even though the colouring looks nice, I kinda feel like I could have just left it as the sketch though :/ Well, for my peace of mind, here are the different versions of the picture sta.sh/2335a3iv9ik?edit=1
