I'd love to see new Talespin material... Done by Studio Ghibli. That would kick ass. At this point, I don't want to think about what Disney would do to it. We live in a far more PC age now. You can't shoot at children with machine guns in cartoons anymore, more's the pity. Would kids today even watch a show set in 1937, with no computers or other modern trappings? Maybe. Harry Potter did well obviously, but I think that the exception. No, as an eighties kid and Talespin fan I'd rather they left it alone. I saw the cheap CGI they have planned for the Inspector Gadget reboot the other day. The original from 1983 looks better.

Ghibli would do a human version of Talespin-it wouldn't be difficult but wouldn't be the same.Cgi has gotten better of late, not the cheapo stuff but the ones Disney used in Minnie's Bowtoons.Kids watch all sorts of shows, it would just have to grab their attention.A Harry Potter series would be nice, going by the books not the movies. And look at how those ugly ponies turned out in their most recent incarnation!
