Jeff finally gets home from school, giving a small sigh as he lets down his backpack by the door and collapses on the couch. His mother walks into the room just before he turns on the TV, her body being tugged by a towel without an article of clothing on “Upup, noo tv young man! You need to get ready for your new babysitter!”
Jeff looks up at her with a disappointed look on his face “aww mooom, I can take care of myself! I mean, the cat can stay in the house by herself, why can’t I?” the cat tilts her head as he says that, the mother giggling gently and makes her way to the bathroom “That's because she doesnt eat sweets before bed. Now go to your room and get out of your school clothes, I want you to make a good impression with Susan tonight.”
Jeff shakes his head disappointingly, moving up to his room and taking off his shirt, finding a nice blue shirt with a star in the middle. His cat struts gently into the room and rubs on one of his legs. Jeff perks his ears up and looks down at her, carefully lifting her up to eye level “Aww Loki, you know I didn't eat any of the cookies right? I mean, I'm sure dad gets hungry for them too” the cat just looks at him as if he was nuts, then pounces off and leaves the room
