Cupcake is a very sweet girl, if a little naive and ditzy. Which means that sometimes, she doesn't fully understand what someone is asking her to do.
Case in point: Candy one time asked her older sister to provide donuts for everyone for breakfast, knowing that Cupcake was not only capable of detecting what anyone likes to eat, but can also create them out of thin air.
...unfortunately, Cupcake decided that in order to have enough, she needed to really let her powers go. Thus Candy wound up ducking under the dining room table, dodging flying, sizzling hot donuts!
...it's probably going to be the LAST time she asks Cupcake to make breakfast.
