So yeah... I wanted to draw an adoptable but I ended wanting to keep him instead so here is the ref for my personal species, a faux devil. Allow me to explain a bit more.
Needless to say, scythe are an awesome weapon. So cool in fact that I have decided to create a species for them. Faux Devils are the soul of a scythe who either share a very intimate bond with their wielder or dominate them with mind control. The ''Primeval Faux Devils'' usually despise being wielded and will drain the lifeforce of those who wield them and very rarely will they actually bond with them in any way.
Rusty Heart is one of the primeval beings of this species. His color is yellow and wields the power of rust and illusions, allowing him to easily destroy all types of metal and even hurt other faux devils as he can rust their weapon form while trapping them in an endless void.
For the most part, this closed species' design is fairly complete. I might change a few things along the way to make them more appealing in the future too but that will depend of a few things. I also intend to create other species for other weapons but for now, I will focus on this weapon in particular and design both the devil himself and the weapon they represent.
