Epilogue
Love
The Following morning after the morning sparring and training session, the turtles and their girlfriends all went about their business, but seemed a lot closer to eachother than before. Being an experienced dad, he noted this while observing his children, “Leonardo, Kalliope, may I speak with both of you?” Both leaders stood and walked with Splinter into the Dojo, which made the other turtles and girls nervous, worried that maybe he heard all 8 of them last night and objected to the blatant affectionate display among all 8 teen warriors. Leo and Kalli enter the Dojo just after splinter and kneel before him bowing respectfully, unconsciously Leo takes hold of Kalli's hand for support, “My son, why are you so nervous?” Leo swallows audibly not sure how to word it all, “Master, we....we have something to....” Splinter raises a hand stopping him, “I know already Leonardo, it was a little difficult not to hear when Michaelangelo is the loudest of the 8 of you.” This made the two of them blush a bright red color, enough so that it was almost the same color as raph's mask, Splinter chuckles, “I am glad all of you have come together in your own ways, and what have you learned from your 'Nightly Visitations' my children?” Kalli and Leo look at eachother, they smile, and Leo kisse Kalli's hand.
Kalli looks up at her adopted father figure and takes a breath, “We learned about the bond the brothers Shared with one another, and we felt it wouldn't be fair if we didn't share that bond with them as well” Splinter smiles and nods in approval to them, “Well said child, you have all learned three out of the four pillars, but have you truly met the final one?” Kalli holds Leo's hand and he pulls her into a one-armed hug, “We did master splinter, we found the first pillar from the day we met them remember?” Splinter chuckles remembering their conversation, “Yes I do remember, you told me after I had spoken with my sons that night” Leo looks up at Splinter then Kalli, “So you did know about us the whole time....” Kalli nods at leo, “Some things you can't say or put into words hoping to get the whole message across, a lot of things are usually spoken the loudest through action and emotion more” Leo blinks and looks up at Splinter, his eyes wide with wonder, Splinter nods to both of them, “That is true Love in it's purest form, when the woman you love shows you how they feel about you rather than wasting a moment on pretty words that only give part of the true message.” he stands walking into his room, “Be sure you understand her message my son.” Leo nods adamantly, overwhelmed by his emotions and the revalation he's experiencing, when Splinter slides his door shut, he turns to kalli scooping her up in his arms and kisses her fervently and passionately. He moves off her lips and kissed every part of her face and neck earning a light giggle from her, “Kalli I love you, more than anything in the world” Kalli smiles brightly at Leo and stops him kissing him back, resting her forehead against his, “I love you too Leo, I know we're both new to this whole relationship thing, but one thing I know for sure....I do love you” they both kiss again.
Splinter seeing their sillouhettes from the door smiled at them remembering his time with Tang Shen and sighs contented that his sons found the same love in these girls that he once had with Tang Shen, and he prayed that their happiness lasts forever.
3 nights ago, Inside of the Dojo while the girls were talking to splinter: Splinter Told them of the intimacy between his sons, and made a firm point that the only reason it happened was because once before they ever met they came to grips with the fact that the four of them would be the only four Mutant Turtles in existence, and they would never meet anyone else, “To my sons, you four girls are the most precious things in the world to them. They have never known Love in the same way human couples do, I know I often tell them stories about myself and my wife Tang Shen, but telling them about love is only part of the message.” the girls all look at eachother and demey raises her hand, “Then how do we tell them we love the four of them like they love eachother in more than just a simple I love you Master?” Splinter turns to the young turtle and looks at her and the other girls, though Kalli already seemed to know the answer, “What do you think Kalliope?” Kalli looks up at Splinter, then her sisters, then to the floor thinking for a moment, then up again though with a small smile, “We show them our feelings when we're ready because knowing we love them is only one part.” Splinter, nods with a smile as well.
And that is the real message, you can give all the right gifts, say all the right words, Make love to your partner every night, marry them and make all kinds of promises and vows to be with them forever. But that's only half the true message, you get the full message by action and in what you do for your lover more than just speaking it, in small gestures, in helping them here and there, or like the turtles, by just being there for one another. True love is found in the heart and the soul.
