Passed around the foster care system of California, where her family lived at the time of her parents death, she soon became jaded with peoples concern of getting paid to care for her. At the age of twelve she ran, heading East over the Rockies by way of trails she had learned about in school.
Intention: I have a story line going with a pair of characters that for reasons of not passing on genetic abnormalities have been advised against ever having children. If I get her it is my intent for her to be the answer to their prayers, as it were, and have her show up in my town of Winter Creek. There she will be 'found' by an older, and well known and trusted member of the community and in his own unique way get her to tell him her story. This person will think she may be a perfect match to the young couple i mentioned and introduce them to her. I foresee it taking a little time, since she would be rather wary of people due to her past, but in time the young couple and her hit it off resulting in her being adopted, and raised by the couple. They would cherish her and most likely spoil her endlessly considering their predicament when it comes to having cubs of their own. Sex stuff with her? Perhaps in time, if she were to find a suitable and willing partner. Suddenly fearless and aggressive, she tore up the dance floor, then lost her virginity after roughly dominating someone in the bathroom. Mila rapidly found herself enjoying her wild side, and began ignoring her parents pressure to overachieve and began attending more parties, building up an alcohol tolerance to rival a sailor and an infamous reputation as someone who could break men twice her size in bed. With her parents none the wiser because Mila's grades remain in-tact, she graduated with honors, and began seeking out a college to join not just to study, but to find a place where her other side could be right at home.

In addition to liking loud music and wild dancing, Mila can be very cunning and manipulative, finding ways to get almost any partner she wants. She doesn't feel attracted to a specific gender and plans on exploring her options when the time is right or someone catches her eye. Even though she comes off as a tomboy, she has a secret love for girly dresses, makeup, perfume, and dolls. She has to hide her doll collection whenever she invites her friends over for fear of being laughed at.
Purpose: I only have one character so it'd be nice to have another. Maybe I'd actually be motivated enough to actually write something. So, I guess her purpose would be as a main character in whatever story ideas I come up with. I'd definitely keep her around though. She seems really neat.

Lygia Lucia Cruz, (Lycee, as some of her oldest friends call her.) a simple girl born to a Brazilian couple that came from Recife and immigrated to the United States a year before she was born and finally settled in New England after several years of moving around. Her mother chose her name upon hearing the high wails of her child shortly after giving birth. She called her this name jokingly at first, but decided to keep it after her soft shushing quickly quieted the little Lygia. This is a story her mother is willing to tell with very little, or no, prompting.
Her father is a fairly laid back man that drives for a package delivery service, which allowed him to uproot and move his family while keeping the same job in Lygia's early years. Her mother was a housewife for many years, but eventually got into child care when Lygia was old enough to begin attending school. She also has a brother two years younger than herself. Growing up, her home was always full of music and conversation. It was only quiet there when the home was empty or the entire family was asleep.
Her father was mostly hands off when he wasn't spoiling Lygia or her brother, an affectionate man that loves greeting with hugs and knows who runs his home.
Lygia's mother kept the home and raised her children with a mix of religious values and openness that some in their community were often baffled by, but no one ever seemed to be openly offended by. She loves her family strongly and is sometimes prone to bouts of crying over the fact her babies have grown so much.
Her brother is a loving but playfully troublesome boy that will always be a boy in his older sister's eyes. He played soccer when he was younger, at his parent's behest, but transitioned to baseball and football when he reached the middle grades in school. He's sometimes act's like his sister's defender when other boys might show an interest, feeling the need to protect her virtue, a feeling that was at least partially coached by his parents.
Lygia herself found it mostly fun in her home until she hit puberty and began to want to fit in more with the social norms of other girls, slowly becoming a bit of a wallflower out of fear of public embarrassment from her boisterous but stern mother. She can be open and friendly with others, but sometimes has to be dragged out of her shell to reach that point. She only went on a few dates going through school and is largely inexperienced with boys, but knows how things work pretty well thanks to the internet and much free content out there on it. She is sometimes left blushing and fidgeting when thoughts of doing things with guys, or even a girl might enter her thoughts when she happens to be while talking to the person at the same time. A closet pervert that is still fairly vanilla in her thoughts, the internet not having managed to fully corrupt her.
When Lygia finished high school she looked around for colleges to attend, but eventually decided to wait, get a job and try saving a bit before applying, hoping some more scholarships than what her high school counselor had found might open up by then. This choice lead her to becoming a barista and finding a small passion for coffee, which she had avoided growing up for two reasons. The first reason was that her mother had always said it was a grown-up drink, and the second was the thought that an addiction might form. In her mind this was a possible reason her parents seemed like zombies every morning until they downed the strong smelling liquid.
After some time on the job Lygia saved a little bit and decided to move out to lighten the burden on her family and give her younger brother a better chance to go to school with her parent's aid. At this stage she's now twenty and on her own for the first time. This picture is of her talking about possibly being dragged out to a party by a friend that stopped by, enjoying some coffee before heading off to work.

She and Jackson having had met when he wandered into the diner after a spat with his abusive father over a lost little league game. She was carrying a tray of food when they collided. She's very intelligent, and has a preference for more "adult-like" stuff in life - not sexually, but she prefers coffee over soda, jazz and classical music over pop, reading the newspaper over Twilight, and so on. She was born quite late in life to an older couple who thought they were destined to be childless, and while her home life was quite nurturing and kind, she grew up with her parents' rather out-of-date tastes and attitudes. [Her father was 49 and her mother 46 when she was born.] For this reason, her classmates see her as anywhere between "unusual" by the nicer ones, to "a freak" by the jerks, and she's pretty out-of-touch regarding trendy stuff among her classmates. She and Equinox hit it off pretty well at the start of the new school year. One of the biggest things she always dreamed of, was to find someone that would take over her life, every single choice, every single decision. Background: Looking to make some extra money to help pay for college, she answers an advertisement in the paper for a barista to help out at the local coffee shop (owned by one of my characters, Gwyn). Shy at first, Chloe learns to open up to the people around her, though she's friendly enough to the patrons. Having a slightly older boss to look up to like a sister, she really starts to grow as a person, and develops into a confident young lady who is sure of herself and a constant pleasure to be around.
Purpose: Art, stories, RP. If I'm really going to be honest, here, she'll probably end up putting on a bit of weight, as most of my characters end up doing, though she probably wouldn't have a huge bust even if this happened. As a result her parents are working too hard and don't spent too much time with her and her brother and sisters.
