After cluing the sides and smoothing it out making sure not to burn yourself as you go,
the next step will be to clue down the sides near the edges of the tounge. this will hold down the fabric so that it looks like the laces are holding tight. Leave 1" of fabric from the edges and draw eyelets (personally i went with 3 being so big.) followed by glueing the fabric around the "collar" of the shoe and trim the fabric down. this will give the shoe the sock in the shoe look.

TIP: to avoid bruning your self i used the end of my ruler to smooth out the spots i had glued down.
