So I made a venture into Sculpey statues.
What are little colts made of? Wire armature, Premo Sculpey, model paint.
About 10 centimeters long (4 inches in Moon units).
I wonder how absolutely everybody else makes their statues so smooth...
For P4U.

One way to smooth out a sculpy statue is to use a small bowl of water with whatever modeling tool you use. Dip the flat part of the tool into the water and gently stroke the wet tool across the surface to remove fingerprints and rough edges. also after the sculpey has set up and before painting you can also sand certain areas to make it smoother.
