Those words rang through Kai's head the entire night and into the early morning, it was because of that stupid kiss he shared with Skylor a few nights ago that this happened to the blacksmith. He never knew she was there, and she shouldn't have been spying on them. Atleast that's what Kai was trying to rationalize to himself… but then the thought that he shouldn't have kissed Skylor back when he and Christy weren't officially over yet… He's been blaming himself since then, and even though he and Skylor now had a new relationship his heart felt heavy.
Once breakfast was over, he rose from his seat and began to make his way back to his room. Luckily Master Chen had ran into some problems for the next round and had to hold off on it for a while so no one had to compete for now… on his way to his room he noticed Christy walking behind Clause, following the evil man most likely to where the Condrai Cultists met. He looked at her with regret and guilt in his eyes, hoping she'd atleast glance his way… unfortunately she didn't. It was only after she and Clause turned a corner did he manage to continue to his room, the pain in his heart growing heavier at he look of pure hatred in his ex-girlfriend's eyes…
