Probably the most fitting description of Alee Dy'nesenolen one could come up with is indeed "wild child." The elven community that she was raised in thought that her human blood was too much of a disruptive influence on her; she was always misbehaving and alienating those that she met. She always felt caught between worlds, belonging to nothing and being respected to no-one. It didn't help that her elven mother sent her to the Thornleaf Druid Circle, believing that time amongst the tranquility of nature would temper her rebelliousness.
But peace would not come amongst the Druids and Rangers of Thornleaf. The archdruid lauded a prissy little elf named Desyra, always heaping praise upon the sickly waif. The only focus that Alee had was to beat the elf at her own game, and prove herself a better druid. While turmoil raged within her, without she displayed calm and confidence in nature, impressing the archdruid. When she and Desyra were accepted as Druids at the same time, it only cemented their rivalry further. With the test for the second circle fast approaching, Alee broke into the archdruid's tent, looking for any advantage over Desyra. What she discovered would change her life forever.
It was the teachings of an ancient shaman who had discovered the means of unlocking the feral spirits within. A trained druid could tap into those spirits and change form. With practice, a shifter could adopt forms at will and remain in those forms indefinitely. It was her ticket to escape; when she thought of Desyra, there wasn't any animosity. Her rivalry was merely to gain respect. But whose respect? The archdruid? Why did she care what he thought of her?
She had to forge her own path. Before she left, she sneaked into Desyra's tent. As she watched Desyra sleeping naked, she realized that she cared for the girl, as insufferably sickly as she could be. In another life, they could have been lovers. Without a word, she made for the northlands, practicing her shifting along the way. Three days later, she could transform into a wolf, and she started her new life amongst a pack. Seven days later, she knew Desyra was searching for her. Several weeks after that, she turned back into her half-elven form, and finding a scrap of paper and some charcoal, she scribbled a note for Desyra to leave her be.
Three years later, Alee was a master shifter, able to transform into dozens of forms, from basic to monstrous. To explore her forms as much as possible, she engaged in wanton sex within them, bedding dragons, minotaurs, Drow, Driders, and dire wolves. Her lovers brought her into the sphere of the Borsites, who loved her ability to transform in to myriad male and female forms for their worship sessions. She loved their free spirits, and for the first time, she felt like she belonged.
One day, she came upon a clear-cutting machine and it forced her return to the Circle. She explained the machine to Desyra, and her whereabouts, and the pair set out with a mission to destroy it. After showing her powers to the astonished Desyra, she seduced the elven girl and made love to her in several forms that dazzled Desyra and the pair expressed their deep caring for each other. Alee would go on to introduce Desyra to the Borsites, and when Desyra pledged herself to the god, she knew they would remain lovers forever. Once the clear-cutting machine was destroyed, Desyra left the Thornleaf Druid Circle, and joined Alee on her adventures.
Bors Fortinbras would come to discover Alee's unique gifts, and seeing the potential of a skilled shapeshifter in Ossinia, invited her and Desyra into his Elite Guard. The pair now tend the gardens and forests of Ossinia... between wild sessions of shapeshifting sex, of course. ;)
