As someone that's fallen from a tree, (about 40' up too), I can say I know how she feels. (Although it hurt like hell, if there hadn't been a lot of small branches below me to slow my descent I wouldn't be here today. I just wished there were more branches below me that last dozen feet to the ground instead of empty air. I ended up with the wind knocked out of me and with at least sixty bruises on my back, legs, and arms.) I was like, "I made it to the top!", right before the branch I was standing on snapped and down I went.
