Orginally created my persona for second life™. Its loosly based off an old character I created in Furcadia, Eric the Citizen.
My version of the chupacabra is from the tales from south Texas. People have seen dog-like creatures skulking around and sometimes found dead by farmers. In actuality they are just Coyote with skin conditions that cause their hair to fall off. But I thought it would be neat if they were short haired canine with bits of hair on their tails and ears.
