's and other leptic fans' perusal. I have other sketches but they're either barely recognizable as leptics or are earmarked for other uses right now.
The small one in the middle of the three upper sketches is my first attempt at an anthropomorphic leptic. It looks odd not so much because of evolving style, but because I was more interested in getting down a basic look for leptics rather than produce a finished piece. This one was drawn long before I learned of
's interest in the critters.
The one on the top left is the result of
mentioning in the Gene Catlow forums wanting to see anthropomorphic leptics. I drew this one to develop the leptic body some more.
The one on the top right is the first version of Strange Prey. All I salvaged off of this one is the head.
The bottom two are unfinished pictures unlikely to ever be finished. The left one I abandoned because I really don't have any references on how a female abdomen looks in that pose while the one on the right was an attempt to make a splashing leptic that didn't click.
