You've met Meribo before back in DD170, when you saw the aftermath of an encounter with a lycanthrope, but she's changed her hair since then.  But then, Meribo is the kind of person who will change more than just her hair if it means an escape from her latest mark.  She doesn't remember much about her family, just that they died when she was young and she was raised in an orphanage.  Orphanages were often ran as workhouses in Jura, and hers was know different.  As a halfling, she was sent to work in a factory as a mule scavenger, cleaning up bits of cotton from beneath the mule as they were run by the factory workers.  Her small size gave her an extra advantage over other children who would often meet with severe injury in the mule's gears and machinery.  Her work as a mule scavenger forced her to become very quick, working almost 12 hours a day on some days.  When she grew old enough, she finally stole all that she could from the workhouse owner and fled, living day to day off whatever she could pickpocket from wealthy individuals she saw on the streets.

The young Meribo was hungry for adventure; her life as a mule scavenger was repetitive and dull.  She wanted to see the world, and her skills as a thief let her do it very well.  There were very few that could best her skill, she could pickpocket even a hapless wizard on his travels.  But one person in whom she met her match was Frin Izrecend, a gnomish conjurer who was very tricky herself, and one dragon transformation later, Meribo was thinking twice about stealing from magic users.  To her great relief, Frin did not kill Meribo, and the halfling considered that she owed the gnome a good turn.  Meribo stuck by Frin and the two of them became adventuring partners.  The two would prank each other mercilessly, often getting more and more bawdy until they had actually hidden each others' clothing one night.  The sight of each other naked sparked new feelings in them, and they became lovers.

One fateful day, Meribo stole a bag from a cloaked figure walking to a local inn.  Rather than the gold that she had hoped, the bag contained several exotic sex toys.  The confused Meribo followed her mark to the inn and it turned out to be a Borsite gathering for an orgy in one of the inn's suites.  Meribo climbed the outside wall and watched them have ritual sex, absentmindedly getting aroused to the point that she gave away her position.  She was grabbed by the scruff and dragged in the window, admonished for stealing the bag, but was curious about their group.  She was released after returning her ill-gotten loot and she told Frin about the group.  The two returned and would eventually join the group for their romps between adventures.  Growing into a swift shadowdancer, Meribo caught Bors' eye and she and Frin now live on Ossinia, not far from Bors' watchful eye.

Don't turn your back on her, she'll have the clothes off your back in a second.
