again, DA subbmission :3
---------------------------------------------
This is more... Military alinged but the show-off version has a wooden shell over the metal one for small ammount of decor on it.
the whole system is steel and steam as well as maybe blood if this concept intergrates a cleaning system of some sort that also keeps the blood at a constant pressure... but anyway! going back to just basic prostect here.
There are three main springs in this foot as well as a Achiels heel mechinism that involes a tightly wound spring and a slowly thining but strenghting string of a metal alloy of sorts. I've no idea what though at the moment... ...
in anycase the shock abosorben system shown in the Civilian alinged foot is easier to get at and secured eaisily- the panel -but the mechinisim itself is harder to make and repair but ridiculously so. it incorporates the Hydrolic shocks in the ball-baring spring-restricted (meaning springs restric the movement of the ankle's ball barings... or it all together can't move at all..) ankel as well as a small water pouch in a tightly woven kevlar in the foot that is half-way empty with springs alinged on top so that it doesn't tangle nor snap untill seaver repairs are needed.... but by then the soilder should be home.
Anyway, the rubber on the bottom of the foot or sole of it, is still much the same as the OTHER mech foot, the civian as both are intented for long use and as such are mounted into the foot difficultly... so if such repair is needed it is covered by warrenty to statisfy customer and avoid complanits or loss of income due to unpopular useage...
The three main springs though are PART of the hinge mechinisim which is in the foot and as such the springs are made to take a beating and keep on kicking!... no pun intended...
The entire shin and Achielis mechinisms, are protected all around meaning that repair will be hard to do if needed but can be done by removing upper screws and carefully cutting the peice down the crease in it.
The toes though are a new feature in themselves. As the civilan doesn't inculde the feature... But the toes are special in the fact that they put to use "Dog's Claws" which basicly are cleets, helpign the user to grip or "claw" Much like a dog's claws do, to move faster or to do more damage. the calws however do need to be replaced or mantined through dialy- almost religous -sharping if used often and for long periods of time.
and again...
I. HAEV. TOO. MUCH. FUN. THINKING. ABOUT. THIS. STUFF! X3
