Those are more of cesti. A crescent blade is typically a weapon with two curved (usually forward) blades extending from either end of a single grip.

Then there is the Crescent or Sickle Sword, possibly one of the first swords to be used, made of wood with a metal or flint edge. Easier to make than forging an entire metal sword.
