A Steel Poison W/ Levitate with 115/90/130/50/130/20 Would be about the tanky-est son of a bitch ever made. with only one weakness (Fire) 10 Resistances and 2 immunities.

Ore Absorb's effect makes it so it does the same amount as a "not very effect" attack, not lowers it by that much.
Any ground and rock move would have .5 damage-maybe I worded it wrong. But that's what it really means haha. And with that it, in a sense, loses it's weakness to most things. I'm not the bestest at this stuff-mostly alright with designs. xD

Well aside from the wording of the ability throwing it off (Ore is Rock, Mineral is Ground) and rock type was already a .5 effectiveness to steel type, Ore absorb has the same wording as filter which, in game changes 2x moves to 1.5x and 4x moves into 3x moves.
you could do something like "mineral absorb" - Draws in all Ground-type moves to boost its Atk stat. Which gives it the immunity of levitate but also boosts its attack which would make it more offensive but still really strong still
