I have been highly influenced by Kierkegaard in this work, new combinations are crafted by mixing universes, new perspectives... Ever since I was a postgraduate I have been fascinated by the traditional understanding of the zeitgeist. What starts out as contemplation soon becomes debased into a cacophony of lust, leaving only a sense of nihilism and the inevitability of a new order. As subtle phenomena become transformed through frantic and academic practice, the viewer is left with an insight into the possibilities of our existence, facing the certainity of the escathon.
