Not to long ago my girls took me to the Mercer Street Bar & Grill to celebrate my BDay, and some drunken Suit Wearing WallStreet Type went up to one of them and told them just that - "Baby, I would look good on you!" He got a beer mug to the side of his face and had to have his unconscious body carried out by his friends. This A-Hole did this so often to other women, that the bartender gave us free drinks after we took care of his trash. It's that we were the first to take care of the problem ourselves. And after that, he and his friends never showed up to Mercer Street Bar & Grill ever again.

Many places like that in NYC. The Laws and most places has it that If the bartender has to take care of the problem, he/the place might get sued. But if a customer takes care of the trash, then fault lies on them and not the bartender/owner. So we took care of the problem and got rewarded. X^D

Some guys (like this one!) need to learn that you can't treat girls like objects.

But from the answer you gave, it seems that you never worked with Rich Kids before. Furthermore, We seen how Twilight "raised Spike", which is not what a parent should be doing for that little dragon literally raised himself. Thus how she raised Spike is how she would have raised her son.

I'm just saying, that He seems awfully guilty at the moment, but no member of the Twi' Family are horrible persons. This picture alone can't label Him as a Black Sheep! We just have to wait a few pages, to see if there is something wrong with His manners.

My mother is both a nurse at the local kindergarten, substitute director of it, and occasionally She bought home kids to watch over for other people. I've met all kinds of kids, but tutoring them is what's all about. Place them in a new environment, and acting dominant around them, and most of them revert to their good side...would be a fine situation, if they would do as they please! >:3 Then again teenagers are a much tougher case...but even they will grovel, when Life will screw them over. Even adults do.

Spike's a dragon. Dragons do not need as much parenting, as ponies does. And don't forget, that Spike is adopted, where's Her son is Her flesh and blood. I think Twi' did a good job, and She had the support of Her friends to help Her out, whenever in a doubt. I still say, that His son might be a Black Sheep, but that is still up in the future.

You (and a lot of other people here) are missing my point. My point is simple - you do not have to be a good person to do good deeds and do them often as part of your life long mantra. You need to look at MLP through a different set of glasses to see what I see. Ms. Faust has made MLP as a male-bashing, fem-nazi cartoon that "Girls are better than boys" and many have fallen into that trap. At best in the MLP universe there are 4 to 10 females for every male, females make the decisions, females are the ones that save the day, and males are made to look bad (from villains to hopeless idiots - guess which one Big Mac falls into). Everything that happens in that cartoon is for the female. Not the male. Thus some fans have taken that too literal, like a couple here that constantly yell in their posts "My Twilight Can't Do No Wrong!" Even you stated "but no member of the Twi' Family are horrible persons." You guys need to rethink that. So, it is a cartoon. But it is a cartoon that is sending the wrong message.

In Twilight Sparkle's case, everything with her has been "Me! Me! Me! Me! Me! Me! OH NO PRINCESS CELESTRIA IS GOING TO PUNISH ME!!! GOTTA FIX IT! GOTTA FIX IT! ITS ALL ABOUT ME!!" Do you think that Princess Celesrtia had to punish someone else would Twlight Sparkle try to help that one pony? I think not. Look at Trixie as the proof. Twilight has the power to save Trixie and make her a good person again, yet she refuses to raise a hoof for her.

In this case with Alternate Dawn - not only is he wrong in what he had said, he is also wrong in what he did. Two wrongs do not make a right. And that makes him guilty of being an idiot (and in some places in this world - sex crimes for unwanted and forced contact). In real life this has happened many times to my 3 daughters, and in each case, they wiped the floor with the idiot's face after giving him 1 chance to redeem himself. I was there to witness this a few times. Mind you, they are in their mid 30s - two medical doctors and a security consultant for Microsoft - LOL!

In my time I have been a teacher, police officer, life guard, EMT and video game programmer. I've earned my millions and gave what my girls needed as a single dad raising 3 girls. But in teaching rich kids, If I do not get their respect within the first 30 seconds of first meeting them, they would have stomp on me for the rest of the school year. I never gave them the chance, but I have seen other teachers running out of their classrooms crying because of these out of control kids. As a Police Officer I have arrested rich kids and their parents. As a lifeguard and EMT, I have saved them from death and drowning. As a video game programmer - I entertained them and everyone with the code I wrote on 8bit systems long ago.

Thing is this, Killereye. Go back to my first statement of this post, "you do not have to be a good person to do good deeds and do them often as part of your life long mantra." I do what I do in life because it's my will to do so, but all the good I have done in my life does not make me a good person. If you personally knew me, you may find me honorable, generous and overall a nice guy. Cross me, use me, do bad to me and you will find yourself in a situation of "Oh shit! How I got here?!!" Then don't think of coming back either because if you do, you will be placed in a worst situation than the first and not able to return.

But this is a fan fiction creation of the MLP Story. It has great art. It has a decent story line. But there are a few elements with it that I do not agree with. This is just one of them. My posts are of my opinions of my agreement, disagreement, and liking and disliking thereof. We can agree to disagree, but no one is going to change my mind on the subject unless some amount of evidence is dragged in kicking and screaming to prove me wrong.

Assuming this is really happening. Always expect plot twists!

Don't we bring too much reality into this convo? You are right about the structure of the MLP:FiM universe, but it was mainly directed toward girls, and I must admit, that it is a bit feminist simply because it'll get more easily liked by the girl audience. FiM has simply outgrown girls and has become unisex, and now the stallions are portrayed dumber then the mares. It's Equestria - Suck it up! There are many positive examples, that stallions are not as oppressed as one might assume. It's an extremist's point of view.

Back to the comic: What A.D. does here is wrong...but what kind of stallion he is is yet to be seen. Being judgemental based on irl experience is allowed, but wrong, when you try to force it on a non existing comic. Just let us wait and see how the story unfolds.

You're right. What kind of Pony A.D. is remains to be seen. But everyone has only 1 chance to make that first impression a good one, and he has ruined it.

We will have to see how it turns out in the next submission of the comic. I have a damn funny feeling that somebody is going to jump a shark when it comes out.

You sound like you are 16.

First off, there are rituals to follow, and in a female hierarchy society, they tell the males what, when, where and how to do things. The male has no choice in the matter. And to be chosen to be the one to mate with, a male has a lot of competition with what few males are there. A young Buck like 18 year old you have no way in winning on your first few years, so you end up not getting any nookie for all that time. Either way, win or lose, you end up being somebody's butt monkey. And if you do not like being somebody's butt monkey, you can leave.

And don't you dare think that you can force your way onto somebody. Sex laws in a female society, the male can never win. If you try, in the very least they will cut your balls off.

So, in this Female Pony Universe, do everyone and yourself a favor if you want to win: Get a Life, Get an Education, Get a job, and Get to be Known as the best you can be. Being Dumb, Stupid, Unemployed, Excuses Making Loser is not going to get you anywhere as a male in a female ruled world. Just like it is in REAL LIFE.

2: I meant that when the MARE's hit 18 it is fun time for men. 4:1 and 10:1 are much better odds than the 1:1 odds we have in reality. Men could be more real in such a situation. IRL we have to Lie and Pretend to be Fairy tale princes to have a chance. That or be a total A-hole. No Idea why, but jerks these days are somehow chick magnets. Hense the saying "Nice guys Finish last".

This not too serious. Look at nature itself. Most males need to establish themselves as the Alpha of the group before they can mate, and even then, he would win out over all the other males, but if the females want somebody else, somebody else they will have. It is like that with real horses in the wild. And Wilderbeasts, and other assorted creatures, including the king of Beasts himself - The Lion.

And how do you know it's 18? In RL, a horse only lives up to 18 in the wild, late 20s domesticated in a barn. Female horses are ready to breed when they are between 4 and 7, depending on when they get their first heat. This is not taking it way too seriously, this is a fact.

that's true within reason. people love to use artistic creativity as an excuse when they do random off the wall stuff but they always forget art is supposed to inspire people in various ways not say 'uhh what'.
its the same for writing more or less, artistic creativity means you can do pretty much anything you want with any character you want but a good story keeps in mind that no matter what liberties you take with a story that its still believable and draws you in.

Given that he is Twilight's son he probably collects samples of rare magic creatures. Made up science says best method is through the lips.
