One of my very first character-type things was a mutt dog named Sam that came to life in the form of a doodle during a freshmen science class in high school. He is pretty old and dates back to 2004 when I was 14. Ten years! Wow.
Anyway I drew this guy back in the day a lot. He is mainly Dalmatian with golden retriever, and a tiny bit of dachshund. He gets the spots from the Dalmatian side, the long fur from the golden retriever side, and the short stature and legs from the dachshund side (though he lacks the long body). He is typically friendly, innocent, and playful.
I drew him for a few years then he was eventually forgotten. I have several old drawings of him. I wanted to see how he would look in my current style.
