Too cute! You're amazing at making characters!

Y'know? I appreciate that. It's not easy to really stand out there. I've always thought it doesn't take much, but if anything, I guess it's important to have a personality and then make sure to have that personality be reflected in the artwork.

You're quite welcome!
I don't think it's quite as important to make your character 'stand out' (there's certainly too much of that around), although I'm sure that's not what you meant anyway. Personality and a certain degree of 'realness' are far more important than having a unique immortal demigod half-brother of Nightmare Moon, who saves Equestria on a regular basis with a scythe that drips blood, is married to Twilight Sparkle, but is clearly very humble and wise despite what others may think!

You have a knack for creating charactes different than the norm for pony characters out there, and that's something special.

Standing out sometimes is accomplished exactly by not being overtly 'special'. So when you compliment me for making characters, I'm actually considering this is something that's done all the time; without too much rhyme or reason. I'm not sure it's any different for me. Maybe much of the secret is not overthinking it and seeing where you end up with the simple thoughts.
