This was the very first paid commission I requested and received. I have been in love with this one and the artist's style/coloring ever since I saw it completed. I originally re-uploaded the original to DA May of 2009 but the character is a bit older than that, dating back to her concept around 2006. Several ideas for her identity included being royalty with a need to see the world while still being a snob, an innocent girl with a normal life and love interest, but ultimately what stuck was her back story of being abandoned as a toddler. At only three years old she was left by her parents out of the blue to fend for herself. Krystal would climb to the top of the hill every day to watch the other kids play and have fun. The little child girl would have gone to play with them but her extremely different body was the target of their ridicule and hatred. Her fur was entirely white and behind the fox girl was four tails. Even then for her age she was rather tall. This carried on until the day the local town's doctor, Windmill Plains' own Nathan, took Krystal in and cared for her until she was fifteen years old. By then she was taking care of herself, growing her own food to sell, washing her clothes in the pond near her forest covered home, and more. However, when Krystal turned 19, she found a young man not from her world. Of course they met after an incident at a temple, which Krystal was unconscious for the most part of, where she healed the human's wounds. One long trip across the world later and she re-awoke as the world's white goddess, twin to the black goddess who sought death and destruction.
But of course, not much of that matters now that my friends and I focus on her modern day self (some of which will be uploaded later). Today Krystal is a chaotic good with some violent tendencies that thankfully don't involve much blood shed (minus the occasional need for some), while her sister Roxanne is learning to love and be loved.
