Remind him that, in the pool, he can pound you as rough as he wants and not have to worry about hurting you. That'd get any dragon in.

Aww..
You will have to gently kiss and lick those wounds with a mouthful of healing, if you love him that much? Or at least use a cloth... if it's gonna be all nice and gentle.
