Freezing Winter Wind

Ornament
freezing_winter_wind.mp3
Yay, finally a new piece to post. =)

I'm almost done with my 18th album/5th Christmas album. I don't like posting Christmas tracks before Thanksgiving, although that's only a few days away now!
My Christmas albums are a mixture of traditional Christmas songs mixed in with a handful of originals. This is one of the originals. ^^

Temperatures have seriously dropped in my neck of the woods; they say this winter will be even harsher than last year's rather harsh winter. Not to mention that half of the continental US is now covered in snow. It's a winter madhouse. O_o

Thanks for listening and I hope you like it. =)

It sounds complex and precise.  Did you play all of that manually?

Yes, everything in my songs is played manually. In this particular recording, there are moments where I double tracked the piano. I can't remember exactly which parts I did that on, but there are some moments in here where there's a right hand/left hand part and then a second left hand part being played separately on top.

Hah - forgive my doubts.  I was also thrown off by not getting a particular feeling from it.  Kinda like it's multiple songs combined or pieces of a dream.  ...I don't know how to explain it.  Anyway, I like it.

No offense taken; it was a very valid question. =)
Computer musicians have many tricks up their sleeves; you never know how whatever you're hearing was really produced.

Well, I'm glad you enjoy it. ^^
