I don´t wanted to share this, I don´t consider a nice job, anyway, there is, it was a test with dirt, dust and those things around the character, the effect is cool, but require more practice.

Is Kovu, a caracter from The Lion King 2.

I really like it. The dirt in the foreground is a bit too detailed in my opinion, but th effect is cool and the drawing itself is really nice

Yeah, might have worked better with a lighter character like one of the rabbits :p

The facial expression in this picture is what makes it so good to me though. Looking forward to seeing more from you once things settle down. Do you live near the capital?

I was just curious, since you said in your journal that the situation in Mexico was difficult, and as far as I've heard the bulk of the protests are near the capital.

Ah, yes, but is not only on the capital (I live "near" the capital), is in all country. Is a mess, too many dissappeared people, deads, lies, lies everywhere, etc.

I feel will happen something really bad for the next month, the things with the president, the loyalty of the army and other small details are making this point dangerous... but I don´t know how far can go. :/

Sad to hear. Some time soon a big change needs to happen in Mexico to stabilize the country, because right now many people have to suffer for various reasons. Hope you end up okay and maybe your rival bookstore ends up a little less ok xD

About the rival... is damned literally, the sales are $0 on this moment, and they pay a rent, very high, in 1 or 2 months I am sure will close the busyness.

There for a second I thought it was a different Lion. Because of the lack of a name in the description. But I looked at the tags, and I was like.. yup, that's Kovu. Great Job. As usual. Your a top notch artist I must say. An excellent one at that ^^. Now all I need to see is "Thumper's Fifth and Forgotten Sister" yeah... I am actually surprised she didn't make an appearance in Bambi II. It would be cool if someone were to be making a picture of her. But it's just a wish. ^^. I am a little upset that they forgot to include her in the 2nd one.

Oh yeah, sorry, I fix it... now I understand why some comments say the character looks so original. O.o I though people will reconize it, well thanks for this small detail.

Maybe she doesn´t appear on Bambi 2 because died on the book, well, is one of the cubs of Mr. hare, but in any case I think is something like this... Mmm, she was ate by the birds... in winter, and only the hare come for find the corpse... so creepy, I can imagine Thumper and friends around the body of her sister... :v

Or any idea? maybe I can put her as a ghost for evade the gore, I don´t like it. XD

Yeah... I found that idea quite desturbing myself. Now I have it stuck in my head Dx. I like the spirit Idea. Maybe make it with a boy bunny that liked her, sitting in the grass at night with her spirit (slightly transparent and blue) wrapping her arms around his neck in a kind of hugging position from the back. and his hand just barely touching hers. His facial expressions should look sad. It's quite depressing, but it fits the mood of the original Idea.

Maybe is depressing the idea... but for something I wear the dead as icon, topics with dead, deep message, those things I love it. :3
