The sketch shows Adel Fortescue as a Noibat (yes, a shiny Noibat) during his twenties. He drives an AC Cobra before he sold it, and he wields his paintbrush on his left wing. He's a left-handed.

As most cars in France are LHD with right-handed drivers taking advantage, Adel was somewhat bad at shifting gears at that time. Luckily, the RHD AC Cobra imported from UK helped him a lot.
