she's cute, but don't pet her, Glaucus atlanticus feeds on the tentacles of the Portuguese-man-of-war jellyfish, then recycles the jelly's stingers into it's own skin as a defense. while the sting is not as lethal as the original, it can be excruciating depending on how recently it's eaten.
