Like all the bug boys post Blistr, I was seeing this guy in my head for months before I actually drew him and am super happy with how he comes off. He’s supposed to evoke fear and disgust while still being attractive in a “give it up or he’ll take it” kinda way!

This is a monster bringing to mind similar characters in the Xander epic. At one point Xander is apprencticed to a spidtaur sorceress and that ends very badly. She also, centuries later, is revived in a way I will not specify by a dog and another spidtaur, minion of an elf skunk. Still later a spidtaur (Madam Staircrawley) is a colleague in the faculty of a magic school, but nothing comes of that. I think the 2nd spidtaur is seen on board a ship Xander is about to board to sail to Egypt.

She was given a sort of immortality by a demon she offended, with the expectation that long before the geas that prevents her from aging, let alone dying, is fulfilled, she will be mortally weary of life.

A rabbit friend also shares her near-immortality, and that was accomplished in a way I will not describe, and can not die until Xander dies. They got separated centuries ago, tho ...
