This is bad what will anon and Bonbon will do now at this point? So many delicate decisions must be done or Lyra will completely lose her mind. This is by far the most heart wrenching, emotional, tear jerking ride on this very emotional roller coaster T_T

One possible solution: Lyra should cast a spell (Or ask Twilight Sparkle to cast it) on Herself, so Anon 1 will see Lyra, as She were Bon Bon. (Spell should include safety, so Anon 1 wouldn't poke into Lyra's horn!!!!)
Then Anon 1 would see 2 Bon Bons...Would it work? Couldn't Anon 1 tell the difference, and love 2 Bon Bons? Or maybe this wouldn't help either, since Anon 1 would select the real Bon Bon with True Feelings (True Love) for Her? Or would Lyra's personality betray Her disguise? (She sits oddly to begin with...easy give-away of personality.)

I guess, such a clever spell disguise wouldn't work for Lyra either. Anon 1 is too resilient towards Lyra...Possibilities...fun. :3

I know that sometimes hard decisions have to be made, and sometimes people/ponies get hurt in the process. But this is just how I would resolve the situation myself.

After putting Lyra to bed for the night, Bonbon would tell Anon that they need to talk about everything. She'd say that she's been giving this matter some significant thought, especially in recent times with all the new developments, and conclude that seeing Lyra suffering is making her heart hurt, and she can't in good conscience be happy when her friend can't be happy herself. And after consideration, she wants Anon to at least consider the possibility of taking Lyra up on her request. She knows that he doesn't love her in the same way, but his love is hurting her by leaving Lyra in pain.
