Im sure this has been brought up on time or another in the fandom, but I find it both odd and rather depressing sometimes that all we seem to see of each others fursonas is this idealized physique that in 90% of us in no way reflects how we actually physically look in RL. I know its made up fantasy and Im not saying that there is anything inherently wanting a chiseled 6-pack. I for one have struggled for a long time with my self image having grown up obese most of my life. Nowadays im at a much more manageable weight of 190lb and I work out on a regular basis. I guess what I am trying to get at with this is even if we all want to have the perfect body, sometimes you got to appreciate your body for the way it is and not beat ourselves up so much over our looks. This is doubly so for those of us who are gay where unfortunately the idea of looking good is ALWAYS at the forefront of everything.
So here I decided to draw a cute little guy using my own body as the model. I think it would be cool to see more artists do something similar and use their own bodies as a ref. You might be surprised with the results!
