This was an illustration i did for an old D and D character i had. My current roommate was the DM back then. Oddly enough as i write this we will be playing a game of "Descent on the weekend, which is sort of like D and D the board game... kind of...

i forget his character name though... and he is a bit wolf-ish rather than like a hyena but i find that fine. i had a funny back story about why he is a paladin. he was a pup found and raised in a dwarf city by healers... oddly enough.

On the shield if it isn't clear, the symbol is a man in a coffin which makes out (in blue) two snakes and a staff which is a parody of the medical symbol.
